Scenting the air with beauty

My sister thought this was a stock image of an incense store. Nope, just my stash ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š What can I say, we just like incense around here ☺️

Satya is my favourite brand and I was so excited to see new flavours earlier this year that I bought one of everything!

I used to burn incense in my room as a teenager in the 1980s and my dad would always be telling me to put it out because he hated it ๐Ÿ˜† So of course I’d just burn it when he wasn’t home ✨ Yes, I was a delight to live with ๐Ÿ˜‡

Are you a fan? I know it’s probably as hazardous to your health as smoking, but I limit myself to one, maybe two sticks a day ๐Ÿ˜

xx Fiona

  1. I've never tried incense but I do use candles and an oil diffuser. Is incense better as far as a stronger scent?

  2. I use incense rather than scented candles, always have done this. And I am very fussy about the ones that I use.

  3. Hi Fiona, I've always liked incense and I enjoyed them in the 1980's as a teenager like you, but my mom said it reminds her of funerals - she's asian :) I still use them in my own home.

You mentioned it might be hazardous to your health, but I think it's fine as long as you limit the usage as you've been doing. I love candles too, but I've heard it's a good idea to ventilate the space afterward.

  4. My sister-in-law gifted me some incense a few years ago, and I still haven't used most of it. When I have burned it, I found that it scented my small house too overwhelmingly. I prefer my candles.
