Writing firstly on my blog and then my books, I have ‘met’ the loveliest people and received real from-the-heart emails.
And then, I receive an email like this - reader Barb sketched a portrait of me from a photo on my blog. Really! How awesome is that!
Barb wrote to me and said that she had decided to sketch her favourite bloggers during lockdown.
I am so touched that someone on the other side of the world would do this for me.

Oh, how kind some people are, Fiona! This is lovely. I do think lock-down and this dreadful virus has, for the most part, brought out the best in people. Yes, there are exceptions, but I do think people are trying to be kind to each other.
