30 Chic Days at Home - Day 28 - Take The Wins
So, I might not have been winning at everything at the moment (chocolate and potato chip consumption going up, as well as general productivity being down.) Maybe you're the same? But by counting the good things it helps me feel good about myself.
- I have been much more creative, and (mostly) easily writing these blog posts, getting more ideas for books and working towards my writing goals.
- I have dressed nicely (clean and casual), and done my hair and makeup each day.
- The bed is made each morning and the laundry is up-to-date.
- Even though snack foods have been around, we have two or three healthy meals a day.
- I have been reading a lot.
- My husband Paul and I have become closer (talking about our future lifestyle, going for dog walks, and exercising together) and it's been fab to spend the time with him before he goes back to work.
I think we can consider ourselves winning at life-in-lockdown, if we remind ourselves of the things we are doing well, don't you?
Tell me what you are doing well at the moment (and any spectacular failures, hehe). I ate too many Scorched Almonds today and had eater's regret. Such is life :)

Fiona, my husband and I are faring quite well in lockdown, just as you are. I always knew being a germaphobic introvert would pay off for me someday! :D Must keep to one's regular routine of exercise, meals, dressing, and yes, making the bed.
ReplyDeleteA germaphobic introvert, hehe, I love that!
