Just for fun, I'm doing my first video blog today. I'm answering Tracy's question. Tracy has a great blog Have Less, Do More, and she also published her first eBook recently. We were eBook buddies and helped each other get inspired and face the fear!
Tracy asked:
How do you come up with all of your chic ideas?
Miss Jessica co-stars while I answer this question, because honestly what's a video blog without a housecat. You'll see her having a good scratch near the end. What can I say, she's such a lady. And don't even get me started about her tipping the camera over.
Edited to add: You can also watch this video on YouTube if you are having trouble viewing it on the blog.
Thank you, Fiona, for responding to my question with a video! I adore your accent and Miss Jessica, too. :)
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Tracy.
ReplyDeleteHey that was fun! It's lovely to see you "live" Fiona and to hear that Kiwi accent. I have no accent of course. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi, Fiona:
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this. You are a natural in front of a camera and have such a soothing speaking voice and calmness about you. However, Jessica stole the show. I couldn't stop laughing at her doing her own thing.
I love your video- so fabulous to see and hear you! Your ideas and thoughts are inspiring and I am learning so much from you. Adore your style - you are clearly an example of some one beautiful inside and out!
ReplyDeleteFab. U. Lous!
ReplyDeleteMe too Rose, I don't have an accent either :)
ReplyDeleteDeborah, that Jessica is a lens hogger. She obviously loves the limelight. Maybe I could become a stage mother.
Love Jessica. Love your voice :-)
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard! I have a cat too and am familiar with their tendency to steal the limelight. Maybe next time Miss Jessica would prefer to sit in another room while you do your thing (and I do hope there's a next time, as this video was such fun - what a treat to hear your thoughts in your own voice!).
ReplyDeleteBonjour Fiona,
ReplyDeleteGreat video and so nice to video-meet you and Jessica - who looks very much like mine, Mademoiselle: black and white but with medium hair.
Have a great day.
Yves
Mademoiselle is such a tres chic name for a cat, Yves!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would like it :)
ReplyDeleteGreat vlog - of course you don't hava an accent (i live in Wellington). I also think Italians in nz are some of the most stylish.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, you get inspiration all around you - since coming back to nz after 15 yrs in london i whinge to myself that there is mot much chic inspiration here - now I feel I just need to look a bit more closely! Aisling x
Great to see you on video Fiona, You have a calm gentle voice and are animated in front of the camera. So nice to hear you speaking your thoughts and very natural too. Loving having you back and with such enthusiasm. Much appreciated. Lucy
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona! I know this isn't the correct place to leave a question for the question bank, but I too would like to hear more about your not drinking (if you still aren't). I have been wanting to quit altogether for a long time and admire those who do!-Carla.
ReplyDeleteYou are a natural in front of the camera. I so enjoyed this. I also enjoyed seeing Jessica's video debut! I think I will incorporate carrying a little notebook around when inspiration hits. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I have added your question, thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust reading your post about Jessica tipping over the camera made me laugh...and then to watch it, too funny! Great video! Your cats are adorable. Loved the Nina video-bomb in your other video :)
