Day 14: Make your husband, and sex, a priorityI don’t really have much to say about this subject as I’m quite a private girl and I would be blushing. A romance writer I am not. Just do it often and have fun.
Some sexy French inspiration is available from two books by Kirsten Lobe -
Paris Hangover and the rather more racy
French Trysts (Secrets of a Courtesan). Goodness me, this American author will make your hair curl, but she’s funny and tells a great story of living in Paris.
I agree Fiona. One of the best books I've read that explains the differences in attitude about this is What French Women Know by Debra Olivier. I'm off to check my library for the books you list.
ReplyDeleteI always try to look nice when my husband comes home from work, check my makeup and clothes, fix hair, brush teeth and put some perfume on.
ReplyDeleteInky
ha ha.
ReplyDeleteim going to have to keep this one in my back pocket for when that day comes..
way.. down the line. =]
Stephanie, I have just received this book from Amazon. I read it once from the library but decided it needed a place in my personal library.
ReplyDeleteInky, me too. It only takes ten minutes if that and makes such a difference.
Lenna, you're such a honey. You're way ahead of us, starting your chic journey at such a youthful age.
I'm always looking for books to inspire me. These sound great and I'm sure my husband will approve. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think this is so, so important. It's a way to feel connected to your partner. And just looking good for your spouse. I know some women feel like their man doesn't go to as much effort, but you should still do it not only for him, but for yourself!
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to check out those books!
